Vetreria 2M produces insulating glass units with maximum dimensions of 6000 x 3300 mm and thicknesses up to 100 mm for facades and windows. The assembly line allows producing automatically panels with an offset of 100 mm on the bottom side and 1000 mm on the other 3 sides.
Our products enable us to create comfortable and bright environments, reducing heat loss in the winter months and solar radiation heating in the summer, with economic and energy savings.
The IG units are assembled on a line with an optical scanner that allows to detect and discard panes with defects, and a flat coupling press with gas filling for the correct insertion of the gas mixtures into the chambers. We are specialized in supplying double, triple and quadruple glazing units with high thermal and acoustic insulation performance. Achieving particularly low Ug (thermal transmittance of the glass) and g coefficients (solar factor) is possible thanks to the correct combination of glass, gas, spacers, and sealants, while the use of special acoustic pvbs determines the reduction of decibels. The Low-E glasses, thanks to a coating of metal oxides, allow preventing heat from escaping out through windows to the cold outdoors. Solar control glass is a glass with a special coating designed to reduce the amount of heat entering a building. It reflects and absorbs heat as well as filtering light for reduced glare.
Using these materials allows to increase energy efficiency and reduce the costs of air conditioning.
The insertion of Argon in the chambers helps to increase the insulation of the product, furthermore, the final performance is also affected by the use of Warm Edge or Low psi spacers. The stability of performance over time is guaranteed by the correct insertion of desiccant substances into the spacers, by the correct application of the internal sealant (butyl) and the external sealant (Polysulfide or Silicone).
We supply double and triple Ig units with encapsulated blinds and thanks to our digital printing machine, we can supply glass with perimeter frames, textures, images or colours for special projects.
